Langs Rum complements the sales portfolio of Kirsch Import – Spirituosen-Journal.de

In recent weeks, Scottish company Ian Macleod Distillers entrusted distribution of its The Six Isles and Isle of Skye brands to distributor Kirsch Import. In addition, the distribution agreement now also extends to Langs Rum. The history of the brand, named after brothers Gavin and Alexander Lang, begins in Glasgow in 1861. Even then, two liquor dealers are said to have fortified the rum with bananas. Today, the range includes three flavored perfumes, starting with Langs Banana and Langs Pineapple and ending with Langs Mango & Ginger. The base is unripened rums made from pot molasses and column stills from unnamed Jamaican distilleries. Enrichment is made with natural fruit flavors. As for the sweetening, there is no clarifying information. Apparently, the paint is not used. The volume of alcohol is stably set at the level of 37.5 percent.
