Leipzig. Getting a taste, testing practical tasks, asking the trainers questions and getting to know the trainees – all this and much more is possible at the Girls’ Day in the Leipzig group.

On Thursday, April 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., girls are invited to learn about internships and courses at Leipzig’s public enterprise, transport companies, waterworks and sports pools. Girls’ Day takes place at the training center of the Leipzig Group at Bornaische Straße 120. The easiest way for visitors to get here is to take tram line 11 to the Raschwitzer Straße stop.

Girls’ Day is an annual day of action aimed at motivating girls from fifth grade and up to take up technical and scientific careers – careers that are assumed to be ‘man’s work’. In 2023, Girls Future Day is April 27. The counterpart of Girls’ Day is Boys’ Day.
